Safety is not a setting we turn on later. Before any support worker can be booked on Support For Everyone, they pass every check on this page — and we keep those checks current for as long as they work with us.
A worker cannot be listed or booked for NDIS-funded supports until each of these is on file and current. If any one lapses, the worker is automatically hidden from search and cannot accept shifts until it is renewed.
A national clearance from the NDIS Worker Screening Database confirming the worker is cleared to work with people with disability. This is the core disability-sector safety check.
A current WWCC — in Queensland, a Blue Card. We require it for every worker, not only those who support participants under 18. No exceptions, and no grace period once it expires.
A police history check, required to be less than three years old, reviewed as part of the worker's suitability.
Insurance is not one of the three worker checks. We are arranging organisation-level cover with our broker and will publish the details here once the policy is in place.
Five stages. A worker is invisible to participants until every one is complete.
A prospective worker creates a profile with their experience, services, languages and rate. At this point they cannot appear in search.
Each required credential is uploaded with its issue and expiry dates. Documents are stored securely and are visible only to our compliance team.
Every worker answers the same nine real-life scenarios, asked by video: spotting and reporting possible abuse, never locking someone in, not doing tasks they aren't trained for, professional boundaries, choice and control, and turning up (or letting people know early when they can't). They can speak or type. Only what they say counts, never accent or grammar, and a person reviews anything borderline.
Before going live, workers read and acknowledge our five core policies: code of conduct, incident management, safeguarding, privacy and restrictive practices. The rest of our policy library follows within 30 days. Every acknowledgement is recorded and timestamped.
A person checks the Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening clearance on the official registers. The banning-order register and ABN are checked automatically, and a police certificate is verified automatically only when it clearly belongs to the worker, is current and shows no disclosable court outcomes; otherwise a person checks it. When every check is green and the interview is passed, the profile switches on automatically. If anything is borderline, a person decides, and no one is declined automatically.
When you see the Verified badge, all three checks are on file and current, the interview and policy acknowledgements are complete, and our team has reviewed and activated the profile.
Checking someone once is not safeguarding. These run continuously.
We track every expiry date and remind workers 90, 60 and 30 days ahead. The moment a required credential lapses, the worker is hidden from search and blocked from accepting shifts until it is renewed — automatically, with no manual step and no discretion.
Every worker is checked automatically against the NDIS Commission's published register of banning orders and compliance actions before going live, and again each time the Commission publishes a new edition. Every potential match is reviewed by a person before any action is taken — we will never let an automated name match suspend someone's work on its own.
Each time the platform blocks a booking for a compliance reason, that decision is written to a tamper-evident audit log — so our safety gates can always be demonstrated, to you or to the Commission.
Workers check in and out on site, so the hours claimed against a participant's plan are the hours actually delivered. That protects the participant's budget as well as the worker's record.
A support coordinator linked to a participant starts with view-only access. The participant decides whether that coordinator can propose bookings, and the participant still approves every booking themselves. That permission can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
This is enforced in two places — in the app, and in the database itself — and an automated check re-proves every morning that it is still holding. Choice and control is built into the architecture, not written into a policy and hoped for.
Messages between participants and workers stay inside the platform on our own infrastructure. We don't route your conversations through a third-party chat provider.
Read our privacy commitments or ask us anything about how your data is handled — we'll answer plainly.
Anyone can report a concern or an incident — participants, families, workers, coordinators, or a member of the public. You do not need an account, and you can do it anonymously.
Last process review: 20 September 2026. Support For Everyone Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS provider. If you have a concern about a worker's verification, email our team and we will respond within one business day.
